Brad's career has spanned IT leadership roles in everything from Oil & Gas, Insurance, and Healthcare companies, to multi-billion dollar retailers.

1. What was your professional journey to becoming a CIO? 

I’ve spent the last 33 years in technology positions across multiple industries and companies.  Although, I’ve primarily spent the majority of my time in retail, I’ve also spent time in Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Insurance.

Learnings from 3 Transformative Business Leaders at the Inc. 5000 Conference

I recently attended the Inc. 5000 conference (#Inc5000), an invitation only event for this year’s winners, for the 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States. Being surrounded by over 1,000 entrepreneurs for three days was a great reminder of why Amy Fowler Stadler and I started Lewis Fowler almost 14 years ago and have enjoyed the success that we have.

Additionally, it was a unique opportunity to observe and understand the different ways that companies are challenging traditional business models and assumptions.

Recently, I have been reading about and thinking about the pros and cons of organizations considering PMaaS (Project Management as a Service) which has been covered extensively in the news recently. 

Considering we support and play this role for many of our clients, it made me think about the benefits and advantages to outsourcing your PMO.
